Nightchoir emerged out of the break-up of Pluto, being Mike Hall (vocals, guitar), Matthias Jordan (keyboards) and Michael Franklin-Browne (drums)."Glass Tiger" is off their first, and well-received album, "24 Hours of Night". The band members are well-known in the New Zealand music scene, having supported individually and together, other local musicians such as Dimmer, Gin Wigmore, Anna Coddington, Anika Moa and The Brunettes. I am looking forward to their new album "See The First Star", due out on August 10th, 2012. This song is a personal favourite of mine (always a sucker for slide guitar). I spent some time trying to find out who sang it after hearing it on the radio several times.
